The finished product has been stained in several phases for color blending. The marine varnish has been applied in four coats, with sanding between coats. The relights have a custom mahogany millwork trim piece and base piece added. The solid mahogany door has a custom mahogany millwork that holds new weather stripping, plus a new base step piece. These pieces were made on site from solid mahogany stock. |
